I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to combine patchwork and crochet in this Eight-Point star block pattern. Growing up, my mum owned a patchwork shop and before I discovered crochet, sewing and patchwork were my jam!
The half-square triangle is so clever. The number of patterns you can make from it is jaw dropping.
You will need
5mm crochet hook
Wool and the Gang Feeling Good Yarn, 50g/130m/142yd, 70% Baby Alpaca/23% Nylon/7% Merino Wool, Aran weight 1 x each of Ivory White, Cameo Rose, Hot Punk Pink, Lilac Powder, Bronzed Olive, Eucalyptus Green
Or, substitute with a similar aran weight yarn such as Drops Air
